This past Saturday I was assigned to shoot 8 Fest. 8 Fest is basically a huge end of the year party held in a field outside of campus. This year there were three stages with performances running all day. After my camera had a close call with the mud, I pretty much stuck to the main stage most for of the day. During the headlining act however, Machine Gun Kelly, someone threw a beer can and it shattered the top display on my camera. Most of the excitement from the day was spoiled at that point, and I was ready to leave with the photos I had. Both Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor and TV star "Drama" from the Fantasy Factory were in attendance. I'm excited to see what this fest will grow to in the coming years.
