Tonight I shot my first hockey game of the season for fun. After playing for many years, hockey is no doubt my favorite sport to play/watch. Shooting hockey is an entire different animal. The poor lighting conditions and fast shutter speeds needed can make it the most challenging thing I have have ever shot. Here are a few select images from the night.

Phantoms and Phenomena
The other day I was given an assignment to shoot a preview for a new art exhibit opening up at The Ridges. The exhibit was themed around supernatural happenings, and when I got there almost nothing was even ready for the public to view. The situation didn't look good at first, but I think the image below is interesting given the circumstances of the shoot. It's always important to keep an open mind when going into any shoot, and it is assignments like this one that has pushed me to ready think creatively.
